DJI Osmo Action 6 Standard Combo
The DJI Osmo Action 6 is the action camera I use for filming my motorcycle rides and creating Two Day Escape content. Its compact size, stabilised footage and weather-resistant design make it particularly well suited to mounting on a motorcycle, while still being useful for 4WD, camping and general adventure filming.
Being able to record a ride without constantly thinking about the camera makes a big difference on a motorcycle. I want footage that captures the road and the experience without distracting me from riding, and a dedicated action camera is much better suited to that job than trying to use a phone or conventional camera. It's also versatile enough that I can use the same camera for motorcycle trips, 4WD adventures and other TDE content. I've been using the DJI Osmo Action 6 to record my motorcycle rides and much of the on-bike footage used for Two Day Escape. I generally record in 4K, and the stabilisation does an excellent job of turning footage from a vibrating motorcycle into smooth, usable video. Motorcycle footage is particularly demanding because the camera has to deal with constant vibration, rapid changes in light, wind, weather and movement while still producing footage that's enjoyable to watch. I use the Osmo Action 6 as my on-bike camera because it gives me a compact way to capture rides without having to operate a conventional camera while riding. I can mount it to the bike, start recording and concentrate on the road.
