I don't have to worry about losing my phone or damaging the sensitive stabilisation component on the phone camera. Also, this 7" screen is much larger than the phone and easier to use. Works great. I did need to update my old gloves to a pair that featured at least one fingertip that enables you to use the touch screen. To navigate using Google Maps, listen to music, and to access other apps on your phone, without having to mount your phone on the bike.
